Δίφιλος δʼ ἐν Συνωρίδι (ἑταίρας δʼ ὄνομα Συνωρὶς) Εὐριπίδου μνησθεὶς (κύβος δέ τις οὕτως καλεῖται Εὐριπίδης) παίζων καὶ πρὸς τὸ τοῦ ποιητοῦ ὄνομα ἅμα καὶ περὶ παρασίτων, τάδε λέγει· ἄριστʼ ἀπαλλάττεις ἐπὶ τούτου τοῦ κύβου. Β. ἀστεῖος εἶ. δραχμὴν ὑπόθες. Α. κεῖται πάλαι. Β. πῶς ἂν βάλοιμʼ Εὐριπίδην; Α. οὐκ ἄν ποτε Εὐριπίδης γυναῖκα σώσειʼ. οὐχ ὁρᾷς, ἐν ταῖς τραγῳδίαισιν αὐτὰς ὡς στυγεῖ; τοὺς δὲ παρασίτους ἠγάπα. λέγει γέ τοι· ἀνὴρ γὰρ ὅστις εὖ βίον κεκτημένος μὴ τοὐλάχιστον τρεῖς ἀσυμβόλους τρέφει, ὄλοιτο, νόστου μή ποτʼ εἰς πάτραν τυχών. Β. πόθεν ἐστὶ ταῦτα, πρὸς θεῶν; Α. τί δέ σοι μέλει; οὐ γὰρ τὸ δρᾶμα, τὸν δὲ νοῦν σκοπούμεθα. ἐν δὲ τῇ διασκευῇ τοῦ αὐτοῦ δράματος περὶ ὀργιζομένου παρασίτου λέγων φησίν· ὀργίζεται; παράσιτος ὢν ὀργίζεται; Β. οὐκ ἀλλʼ ἀλείψας τὴν τράπεζαν τῇ χολῇ ὥσπερ τὰ παιδίʼ αὑτὸν ἀπογαλακτιεῖ. καὶ ἑξῆς· τότε φάγοις, παράσιθʼ. Β. ὅρα ὡς διασέσυρκε τὴν τέχνην. οὐκ οἶσθʼ ὅτι μετὰ τὸν κιθαρῳδὸν παράσιτος κρίνεται; κἀν τῷ δὲ ἐπιγραφομένῳ Παρασίτῳ δράματί φησιν· οὐ δεῖ παρασιτεῖν ὄντα δυσάρεστον σφόδρα.

The syntax of the URNs follows the specification of the CITE Architecture.
